For our client, an international pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a Biomarker Technical Expert (all
genders) for a temporary assignment with the option for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with TSL, Clinical Operations, Biostatistics/Bioinformatics, and Data Management
    teams to support and implement translational science strategies in clinical trials
  • Develop and provide operational input for all study-related documentation and processes, ensuring the
    collection, delivery, and analysis of biomarker samples in compliance with these documents and GCP/ICH
    guidelines
  • Act as the central point of contact for biomarker operations across all functions, as well as with external
    partners and CROs
  • Provide biomarker-specific operational expertise and guidance to study teams, ensuring insights are shared
    across teams (studies, programs); identify best practices and process improvements
  • Work with Data Management to set up and apply biomarker-related pages, coordinate data formats and
    delivery timelines, and establish data transfer specifications to ensure timely and efficient data provision
    (transfers, reconciliation, analysis, reporting); manage reciprocal data transfers with Companion
    Diagnostics (CDx) partners for CDx regulatory submissions, if required


Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and several years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or
    biotechnology industry
  • Alternatively: PhD with relevant work experience or Master’s degree with several years of experience in a
    related field
  • Experience in clinical trials, biomarker management, or translational research, as well as knowledge of
    GCP/ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with data management processes and interfaces with Companion Diagnostics (CDx)
  • Excellent English and German language skills.
