At the Judiciary, the Bar CommissionResponsible for the Bar Commission at 80%The Bar Commission is the official body responsible for the supervision of lawyers practicing justice in the Geneva territory.Responsible for the Bar Commission at 80%Your missionWithin the framework of their function, the incumbent will be in charge of managing the registry and assisting the members of the Bar Commission (hereinafter the Commission) in all legal tasks. They have the following responsibilities in particular:- Organize, coordinate, and supervise the activities of the registry composed of two staff members;- Contribute to the proper functioning of the Commission;- Assist the members of the Commission in their judicial activity;- Draft, at the request of the Commission presidency, draft decisions;- Carry out all necessary steps for the implementation and monitoring of legal and regulatory procedures in which the Commission is called upon to intervene;- Participate in the updating and development of decision-support tools;- Keep the jurisprudence database up to date.The incumbent will work in close collaboration with the presidency as well as with the members of the Commission.Required training and/or years of experienceMaster's degree in Swiss law with a bar exam or a master's degree completed by 3 years of useful professional experience.Asset: having already managed a small team.Specific skills- Taste for managing a service: team spirit, good communication skills;- Good judgment and capacity for analysis and synthesis;- Excellent writing skills;- Interpersonal skills and good presentation;- Mastery of office tools in the Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook);- Knowledge of German and/or English.Advantages- Varied work in a stimulating environment;- Social benefits.An extract from the criminal record will be requested at the end of the recruitment process.This position is advertised in the context of the retirement of its incumbent.
