Job Description

As the person responsible for the audiovisual workshop within the Établissements de la plaine de l'Orbe (EPO), you support detainees in acquiring technical, social and professional skills related to the fields of image, communication and audiovisual production. Through your supervision and expertise, you actively contribute to their reintegration process by enabling them to develop know-how.

You organise, lead and develop the activities of the audiovisual workshop, notably ensuring the programming of the internal broadcast channel, the production of video content and the promotion of projects, training and events that punctuate the life of the EPO. You ensure the production of accessible, educational and quality communication materials, while encouraging the autonomy and creativity of detainees. You supervise audiovisual assistants among the detainees through the various stages of production, from preparing shoots to editing content, including the use of audiovisual equipment and digital tools.

Responsibilities

  • Propose and produce modern institutional content (EPO/SPEN), focused on internal promotion as well as the needs of detainees;

  • Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of entrusted tools and equipment, and ensure detainees also take care of them;

  • Support and supervise detainees in their learning process, using andragogical tools created for them and regularly updated;

  • Ensure the supervision, safety and monitoring of detainees working in the workshop and maintain discipline;

  • Actively collaborate with the FAST sector for the coordination and implementation of training services taking place in the audiovisual workshop;

  • Make yourself available to the Service management or other establishments to carry out productions on request.

Qualifications

  • Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) or equivalent qualification;

  • Training in the audiovisual field or equivalent training;

  • Comfortable managing a group, able to motivate teams;

  • Excellent organisational skills;

  • Good pedagogical skills, strong emotional control and open-mindedness;

  • Able to handle tense situations and oppositional attitudes;

  • Good listening skills while maintaining the necessary distance for your mission;

  • Good command of French; knowledge of foreign languages is an asset;

  • Proficient with common IT tools, audio, video, lighting systems and editing software;
