The City of Vevey offers students the opportunity for auxiliary school camp positions at an annualized activity rate of approximately 85% for a maximum duration of 12 months. The City of Vevey offers students of Vevey the opportunity to stay in the mountains by making its municipal chalet, La Cheneau, in Château-d'Oex, available for school camps organized by the Family, Education, and Sports Service sector.In your capacity as a school camp assistant, you will collaborate on the school camp program and facilitate activities from Monday to Friday. You are also responsible for the following main tasks:- Propose and facilitate recreational, sports, and regional cultural discovery activities.- Ensure supervision of groups on the slopes during ski camps.- Ensure the smooth running of camps, in coordination with on-site staff and teachers, particularly regarding community life, adherence to the daily schedule, optimal functioning of meals, and service assistance.- Ensure compliance with safety directives.This position requires:- Bachelor's degree in pedagogy or social work from a Swiss university or equivalent qualification.- Professional experience of at least 5 years with children and youth.- Youth and Sports certification.- Interest in outdoor pedagogy.- Certified mountain leader qualification, a plus.- Sense of responsibility.- Ability to work in a team and team spirit.- Good physical condition.- Ease of communication.- Clean criminal record and special criminal record for working with minors.Start date: September 1st for a maximum duration of 12 months.Activity rate: The annualized activity rate corresponds to a weekly working time of 40 hours, from Monday to Friday with variable hours.
