### **Candidate Profile** ###
* 10+ years of work experience in a power production, utility or trading environment, and preferably with knowledge of the energy markets
* Expert in Asset Dispatch functional and technical configuration
* Expert in Power systems, generation dispatch (market-based, real-time) and AGC logic
* Advanced knowledge in SCADA within a dispatch environment
* Some level of experience in developing interfaces to 3rd party systems (Python, Java)
* Advanced knowledge on comm. protocols (DNP3, IEC104, Modbus, OPC and ICCP)
* Capacity to perform packet-level troubleshooting and data flow analysis
* Working knowledge of Virtualization, networking fundamentals (routing, firewalls, certificates), Linux and Windows servers
* Solid expertise in incident management under high-pressure / real-time environments
* Clear, structured communication with operators and external stakeholders
* Experience working under SLAs and escalation procedures
* Experience working with external service providers (delivery follow-up, contract management, etc.)
* Educated to at least degree level or an equivalent in a business, computer science or a similar technology or engineering discipline
* Fluent in English; competency in French is advantageous
Note: knowledge of the Asset Dispatch solution from Aspentech DGM will be considered a plus.
