We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager EUCAN to oversee tax across Europe, including Eastern Europe, and act as a key business partner.DescriptionAs Tax Manager EUCAN, you will manage and advise on tax across your regional portfolio, working closely with finance, business, and global tax stakeholders to ensure compliance, manage risk, and support responsibilities include:Act as the primary tax business partner for countries in scope, advising on tax of transactions and changesBuild and maintain strong with finance, legal, supply chain, HR, business development, and country leadership teamsOwn income X for the region, with shared service centers and external tax advisorsLead and manage tax regional, and local levels, including with tax authoritiesEnsure professional, transparent, and consistent interactions with tax authoritiesProactively identify, assess, and tax risks, supporting tax controversy and where requiredOversee indirect taxes, withholding taxes, and other local taxes, ensuring efficient and compliant processesMonitor and developments and assess business transfer pricing and adjustments with transfer pricing teamsReview contracts and business from X perspectiveDrive process improvements and within a shared services environmentProfileRequired and experience:University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Law; advanced degree preferred, ideally with a focus on years of experience in a tax role within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or professional services (Big 4) environmentStrong knowledge of income X regional tax frameworks, including Eastern EuropeSolid understanding of accounting for income X and problem?solving skills, with the ability to present clear to stakeholdersExcellent and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across a capabilities; English requiredNice to have:CPA or local tax specialist in or life sciences to shared services modelsInterest in tax technology and process accounting backgroundFluency in an Eastern European languageJob OfferA important regional tax role with high visibilityOpportunity to work in a global, purpose?driven life sciences to complex tax and senior working environment jidf063f17aen jit0415aen jpiy26aen
