The service's mission is to ensure coordinated and sustainable territorial development. Its action aims both to protect the natural bases of life and to create a harmonious built environment favourable to housing, social life, and economic activities. To this end, it establishes the cantonal master plan, verifies the conformity of municipal plans with planning regulations, and coordinates building permit procedures. It advises both public authorities and private stakeholders.

While participating in building control activities, you carry out site compliance inspections.
You also provide information to project owners and architects on the implementation of universal accessibility standards.
As part of an awareness-raising approach, you organise information sessions to promote requirements and best practices regarding building accessibility for the people concerned (PWD).
Finally, you provide technical assistance to municipalities as well as to State services responsible for housing, health, and adult support and accommodation.
Your profile
Holder of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, or a qualification deemed equivalent, you have more than 5 years’ experience in the construction of buildings.
You have proven skills in the field of housing and barrier-free construction and are comfortable with the building permit processing procedure.
