Your responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for day-to-day A&R across Europe (publishing creative, team leadership, signings, artist development).
  • Identify, sign and develop talent — from emerging producers to established acts — in electronic & dance.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with artists, managers, labels and international sub-publishing partners.
  • Drive revenue growth through innovative licensing, sync and catalog strategies.
  • Own budgets, reporting and forecasting in close collaboration with Finance and the CEO.
  • Negotiate publishing/co-publishing agreements, sync licenses and strategic partnerships.
  • Continuously monitor developments in music rights, technology and cultural trends.
  • Leadership & culture: foster an inspiring team environment grounded in creativity, integrity and collaboration.

Your profile

  • Extensive, proven senior-level A&R experience at a music publisher or a closely related part of the music industry.
  • Deep genre expertise in electronic & dance and genuine passion for the scene and community.
  • Solid understanding of publishing administration, copyright, licensing & royalties.
  • Strong negotiation skills with sharp commercial acumen and a high attention to detail.
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.
  • Wide, resilient network across the electronic music ecosystem (artists, labels, industry partners).
  • Market expertise in Europe, including Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
  • Business-fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.

Nice to have

  • Track record of high-impact signings and international chart or award successes.
  • Experience in catalog optimization, rights metadata, DSP ecosystems and analytics-driven repertoire growth.
  • Network in sync/brand partnerships (film/TV, games, advertising, social/creator economy).

We offer

  • Independent environment with short decision paths and real scope to shape and build.
  • Direct collaboration with the founders and internationally connected teams.
  • Modern employment conditions, flexible work setup and a training & development budget.
