Apprentice heavy vehicle driver CFCThe City of Geneva offers a position as: Apprentice heavy vehicle driver CFCYour missionDuring your apprenticeship, you will learn to drive various types of heavy vehicles (lift trucks, organic waste trucks, paper-cardboard trucks, multi-bin, collecto-bin) used for transporting waste or bulky items, in compliance with the standards related to the function, such as:- ensuring proper loading and securing of transported goods,- driving carefully and respecting established schedules,- performing regular maintenance and cleaning of vehicles,- identifying and resolving breakdowns.Profile:- At least 18 years old at the start of the apprenticeship- Holder of a Category B car driving license- Good visual acuity- Ability to adapt to irregular hours- Willingness to travel frequently- Stress resistance- Ability to work independently- Interest in public serviceResidency in Switzerland is required for the duration of the apprenticeship, due to the rules concerning the issuance of permits since April 17.
