Job Description

Within the Centre for Educational IT of Compulsory Education, you define and implement software solutions in partnership with development teams, the configurations of workstations and tablets as well as any managed peripheral devices.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement software solutions, configurations of workstations, tablets and any managed peripheral devices of the unit, their integrations and deployment processes within the production environment.

  • Conduct integration tests of software solutions, workstations, tablets and any managed peripheral devices of the unit and their configurations and coordinate the validation of their system updates in the production environment.

  • Troubleshoot issues and handle service requests related to the integration of software solutions, configurations of workstations, tablets and any managed peripheral devices of the unit, escalated by the various groups of the unit.

  • Respond to all requests from the hierarchy.

  • Provide replacement and on-call duties within the group.

Special on-call duties: in case of particular situations, work in the evening and at weekends.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Master's in Information Systems or equivalent qualification.

  • Apple Certified Support Professional certifications. JAMF 300 certification.

  • 3 years of experience with UNIX and/or Apple operating systems.

  • 2 years of experience using and administering a deployment and MDM management solution.

  • Knowledge of ITSM tools and ITIL standards, experience in designing solutions through scripting.

  • Sense of responsibility and public service ethics, good adaptability, flexibility, listening and communication skills.

  • Creativity, spirit of mutual aid and collaboration, autonomy, global vision and sense of perspective.

  • Very good writing skills, pedagogical sense, good knowledge of English.
