Teacher for topics related to animal protection - 30%Animal protection begins in the classroomThe Swiss Animal Protection organization is committed with passion and on scientifically sound foundations to the well-being of pets, wild animals, and farm animals in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an engaged and experienced teacher specializing in topics related to animal protection, at 30%, starting September 1st or by agreement, for the canton of Geneva, with flexibility to intervene in the cantons of Vaud, Neuchâtel, and Fribourg.Contribution to effective animal protection work- You work independently in classrooms (cycle 1 and cycle 2) and transmit age-appropriate knowledge to students about pets, farm animals, and wild animals.- You raise awareness among children and young people about animal protection topics and encourage respectful and responsible behavior towards animals through varied methodological and didactic approaches.- You help the team develop educational materials on topics related to animal protection (for students and teachers).Your profile- We prioritize university degrees in biology, pedagogy, or equivalent experience.- You are familiar with the Plan d'études romand (PER) and the school system in French-speaking Switzerland.- You have excellent oral communication skills and preferably possess your own vehicle.- Good command of French.We offer- Meaningful work within an engaged team with extensive specialized knowledge, committed with passion to animal welfare and in particular to Krax, the animal protection program for children and young people.- Autonomy.Come shape the future of animal protection with us!We look forward to receiving your complete application including your CV and a short cover letter by July 31st directly via the Apply button. jid63550baaen jit0727aen jpiy26aen
