The independence this confers allows it to continuously invest in human and technological resources to guarantee the best care for its patients.We are looking for our Surgery Center:NurseKey information about the position:- Type of contract: Permanent, 100%- Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 6:30 AM at the earliest to 7:30 PM at the latest- Start date: As soon as we find the right person- Location: In the heart of Lausanne (M2 Riponne or Bus 2, 3, or 21, Beaulieu-Jomini stop)Why do we need you?A nursing position in the Surgery Center is opening up: join a committed team in a Day Clinic where your expertise is recognized, your autonomy valued, and your role in the patient journey is fully integrated.What will you be doing?- Ensure comprehensive patient care in surgery and medicine during the pre- and post-operative phases, ensure continuous monitoring, and adapt care according to the evolution of the patient's condition.- Monitor prescribed treatments, including complex infusions.- Prepare, accompany, and monitor patients for interventional radiology procedures.- Apply specific nursing care for the department while anticipating and preventing potential complications related to treatments and interventions.- Provide compassionate care and personalized support to patients and their loved ones throughout the care journey.- Collaborate closely with doctors and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and secure care.- Ensure rigorous transmission of information and complete traceability of care in patient files.- Accompany nursing students in their clinical learning and professional development.Who will you be working with?In the Day Clinic, our team consists of 10 nurses and 1 nursing assistant in endoscopy and outpatient services. It is a supportive, versatile, always smiling, and dynamic team. The watchwords of the department are Mutual aid, humor, and indulgence.In the Interventional unit, our team is composed of 8 nurses and 4 technical assistants in endoscopy and outpatient services. It is a supportive and dynamic team, experienced and always curious to develop new skills and activities.
