About the Company

Our client is a leading telecommunications operator undergoing a major transformation toward AI-driven automation and autonomous networks. As part of a multi-year strategy focused on operational efficiency, OSS modernization, and real-time network intelligence, the organization is investing heavily in AI enablement, streaming telemetry, and closed-loop automation capabilities.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced AI & Telco Architect to bridge the gap between telecom network operations and modern AI capabilities.

This role requires someone who understands both OSS/network architecture and AI technologies, and can translate operational telecom challenges into scalable AI-driven solutions. You will work closely with architecture, AI, and network operations teams to help move the organization from Level 2 to Level 4 on the TM Forum Autonomous Network maturity model.

Key Responsibilities

• Define AI integration architecture across OSS domains including assurance, fulfillment, inventory, and performance management
• Advise on the use of predictive AI, generative AI, and agentic AI frameworks for telecom use cases
• Drive the transition from batch-based OSS telemetry to real-time streaming architectures
• Support AI cost modeling, scalability, and reusable design principles
• Translate telecom operational processes into AI-ready requirements
• Support business cases focused on automation, Opex reduction, and operational efficiency
• Act as a bridge between network engineers, architects, data teams, and business stakeholders

Requirements

Essential

• Strong telecom / OSS background with experience in:
  • Assurance
  • Fulfillment
  • Inventory
  • Fault management
  • Capacity planning
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and frameworks
• Understanding of real-time telemetry and streaming technologies (Kafka, gNMI, OpenTelemetry)
• Enterprise architecture and integration experience
• Strong stakeholder communication and business-facing skills

Nice to Have

• TM Forum Autonomous Networks experience
• 5G SA / Network Slicing knowledge
• Data Mesh exposure
• Experience with LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGPT, or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with major OSS platforms (Ericsson, Nokia, Netcracker, Comarch)
