The Financial Department (DFIN) is responsible for implementing the financial policy of the City of Geneva, managing cross-functional financial processes, and providing support to the Administrative Council in financial matters. To strengthen our Accounts Payable section team, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant at 100%.Auxiliary position for a duration of one year, renewable.Your mission and responsibilities:- Account for operating expenses, investment expenses, and expense reports.- Ensure the entry, control, and correction of accounting data (VAT, chart of accounts, analytical accounting).- Control the invoice validation process and ensure compliance with payment deadlines.- Accompany and advise internal departments and suppliers on accounting management rules.- Analyze, process, and regularize accounting anomalies.- Produce accounting reports and participate in the closing of accounts.Your profile:- Holder of a commercial professional qualification or a title deemed equivalent.- Confirmed experience of at least 5 years in the field of accounts payable in an organized environment.- Rigorous and autonomous, demonstrating versatility and flexibility in task management.- Excellent communication skills.- Your interpersonal skills allow you to interact in a professional and respectful manner in all circumstances.- Mastery of common tools (MS Office).
