Safran Timing Technologies SA is a Swiss company belonging to the Safran group, one of the world leaders in the aerospace, space and defence sectors. Established on two sites, in Neuchâtel and Yverdon-les-Bains, it employs around 200 employees. The company specialises in the development and production of MEMS sensors, inertial navigation systems and high-precision atomic clocks. Its products are intended for the aerospace, space, defence, telecommunications and industrial sectors, where precision, reliability and performance are essential.



Accounting Manager (M/F)



Reporting to the CFO, you take charge of all the company’s accounting operations. You ensure the reliability of the accounts, regulatory compliance and the quality of financial information. You supervise and support an accounting team of two people and play a key role in optimising processes within a dynamic industrial environment.

  • Manage all accounting processes across two sites (Yverdon and Neuchâtel) with industrial flows specific to the trades
  • Supervise all accounting operations (general and subsidiary: clients, suppliers, treasury, fixed assets, etc.);
  • Prepare, ensure the reliability of information and optimise deadlines within the framework of monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes;
  • Produce statutory financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, notes) as well as appropriate reporting for Management;
  • Supervise and be involved in all tax compliance processes (VAT, corporate tax, etc.) and ensure compliance with legal obligations in a diligent approach towards the competent authorities and in close collaboration with various internal and external partners;
  • Secure and optimise accounting processes in a lean office approach. Implement all appropriate KPIs and standardise existing procedures;
  • Ensure the smooth running of internal control campaigns in a partnership and educational approach;
  • Participate in relationships with external partners: auditors, banks, etc.;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects of the accounting system within the framework of a migration to SAP and in a post-merger context;
  • Digitise the entire accounting value chain;
  • Mandatory mastery of SAP and the MS Office suite (Power BI is a plus)
  • Mandatory experience in SwissGAAP and IFRS standards
  • Understanding and experience of industrial flows and progress-based accounting

Your profile

  • Higher education in accounting
  • English C1
  • Minimum 10 years of successful accounting experience in an industrial environment, with 5 years in a similar position
  • Analytical mind, rigour, attention to detail;
