Job Description
As an accounting management assistant at the School of Transition, you contribute to tasks related to accounting/finance. You notably participate in the monthly accounting, invoice management, and ensure payment of substitutes. Finally, you collaborate in the day-to-day management of the school's secretariat.
Responsibilities
- Process accounting and financial operations (cash, monitoring of special project funding, management of supplier invoices, monitoring of expenses related to the school's operations and preparation of accounting documents for reimbursement requests from staff/students, management and monitoring of financial aid granted to students, collaboration with the administrator according to service needs and established directives, annual closing).
- Participate in the operation of the school (collaboration in organising replacements for absent teachers, participation in the general management of the secretariat, various administrative tasks according to events scheduled in the school calendar).
- Ensure administrative follow-up of personnel management (ensure the accounting of replacements carried out, sending for payment, semi-annual monitoring and control of occasional additional periods).
- Perform various administrative tasks (collaboration in the training of apprentices, management of annual archiving in collaboration with the secretariat, filing and archiving of financial documents).
Disclosure of a clean criminal record is required to perform this role.

Qualifications
- Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or equivalent qualification
- 5 years of professional experience in accounting
- Analytical and synthesis skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and organisation, autonomy and discretion
- Ability to work in a team
- Proficiency in office tools, writing skills and good spelling
