Description

For our end client, we are looking for an experienced Accountant (m/f/d) with strong expertise in French accounting standards (PCG). The main responsibility will be supporting the finance department with day-to-day accounting activities, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.

Tasks:

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the French Plan Comptable Général (PCG)
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory tax filings
• Perform account reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
• Coordinate with auditors and external tax advisors when required

Requirements:

• Several years of professional accounting experience, ideally in an international environment
• Strong knowledge of the French Plan Comptable Général (PCG)
• IFRS knowledge is considered an advantage
• Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Business-fluent French and English (minimum B2 level)
• German language skills are not required

• Duration: 6 months+ (extension possible)

• Location: Frankfurt Area (hybrid, onsite and remote work possible)
