It also manages 5 surgery centers, 18 radiology institutes, and 6 radiotherapy institutes. The group is looking for a 100% HPCI Nurse. The main duties of the HPCI nurse play a crucial role in the prevention of infections and the quality of care within our healthcare facilities in Hirslanden Geneva. You will work with the HPCI nurse at the La Colline Clinic, which may require you to move between our facilities. Key Responsibilities:- Infection Prevention: Collaborate in the implementation of actions related to hospital hygiene and the fight against healthcare-associated infections. Follow the infection control program and the action plans that stem from it. - Be responsible for training healthcare professionals on hygiene practices and the use of disinfectants and cleaning agents. This includes initial and ongoing training sessions for the teams.- Epidemiological Surveillance: Participate in epidemiological monitoring, particularly concerning multi-resistant bacteria, and contribute to the management of care pathways. - Audit and Control: Conduct regular audits in the various departments of the clinic to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and practices, and write activity reports on the observations made. Ensure data collection and the monitoring of records. - Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, the quality service, the head of clinical services, the referring infectious disease physician for the campus, the hygiene manager of the Hirslanden group, the DGS, and participate in risk management bodies within the institution.
