Based in Ecublens, it manufactures and distributes worldwide a range of precision instruments for liquid dosing intended for many scientific fields, as well as in health. At our production site, we are looking for a Glass Foreman (M/F). YOUR MISSION Within our Glass department, you will ensure the supervision and production of glass AR cylinders as well as associated components. As a true technical reference, you will lead a team of two workers, guarantee the quality of the products, the respect of deadlines, and strict adherence to safety rules.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES - Planning and organizing work according to daily orders and priorities, distributing tasks. - Ensuring the smooth flow of production and respect for deadlines. - Technical expertise, adjustments, and troubleshooting - Be the technical reference for all equipment. - Perform adjustments on machines: flame machines (gas), workbench lathes, abrasives, grinders, cutters, ovens, sharpening. - Carry out first-level troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical) and directly handle issues such as: glass sealing, furnace calibration, ceramic machining, length adjustment, grinding, honing, interior and exterior beveling, polishing. - Conduct industrial washing (ultrasonic, rinsing, drying) and screen printing of labels and markings. - Perform micrometric dimensional controls. Supervision and quality - Train, support, and technically assist the two workers. - Ensure the quality of the work performed. - Conduct visual and dimensional checks. - Validate critical pieces. - Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workspace. YOUR PROFILE Technical skills - Excellent mastery of machine adjustments. - Solid knowledge of mechanics, electricity, gas, and experience with fragile materials (glass, ceramics). - Mastery of micrometric metrology and plan reading. - Versatility and ability to occasionally intervene in other fields. - Personal skills - Leadership and clarity. - Autonomy, rigor, and sense of responsibility. - Ability to produce while supervising a team. Experience and reliability - Technical diploma (polymechanic, microtechnician or equivalent). - 5 to 10 years of experience in production. - Experience in machine adjustments and/or basic maintenance.
