Within this Directorate, the Project Management Service is one of the services whose main mission is to conduct studies and work related to the construction and renovation of buildings in line with the institution's plan for all sites. As a technical project manager in electricity - 100%, you strengthen the Engineering and Building Techniques Sector (SITB). The team, made up of about fifteen specialists in various technical fields of building (HVAC), plumbing, medical gas, and electricity, manages about 60 projects simultaneously. You operate in a demanding environment. In this role, you lead construction projects or renovations from their conception to their completion while highlighting your expertise in electricity. You particularly intervene on projects involving high and low current distribution, TGBT and BT standards compliance, photovoltaic solar panels, charging stations, or electrical replacements. You conduct preliminary studies by analyzing feasibility, identifying needs, estimating costs, and defining schedules. You write detailed specifications and propose technical solutions that allow for informed decision-making. You ensure a rigorous framing of projects, thus guaranteeing precise objectives and controlled progress.You evaluate technical solutions by selecting the most appropriate equipment and developing detailed plans. You also prepare the necessary submissions for launching public tenders. You ensure active supervision monitoring adherence to laws, regulations, and standards in effect at each stage. You supervise project execution by coordinating the various steps, monitoring budget and schedule, and ensuring optimal collaboration with project teams. You participate in steering committees (COPIL), where you present progress updates, propose solutions to potential challenges, and contribute to decision-making with your colleagues. You also intervene in other cross-cutting projects to coordinate actions, resolve issues, and propose suitable solutions. You share your expertise with your peers to help them manage their own projects. From a cross-cutting perspective, you actively participate in continuous improvement by contributing to the development of reference frameworks and technical guidelines. You update the reference frameworks, keep abreast of technological developments in your areas of expertise, and propose innovations.You hold a Master's level technical degree in building with a specialization in electricity. A complementary qualification in project management, such as Agile, is advantageous. You justify 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally gained within a large company or institution operating in a complex environment. You have a deep understanding of the construction sector in Switzerland, particularly in Geneva, and you master applicable standards, including for electricity OIBT and NIBT, laws, and regulations. You have demonstrated your project management methodology skills, particularly in framing, stakeholder management, and change management. You are proficient in MS Office tools for managing your activities. You demonstrate excellent qualities in communication and leadership that allow you to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders. Your analytical and synthesis skills enable you to adopt a systemic approach.You participate in the on-call rotation representing about 2 to 3 weekends per year as needed. Number of positions: 1.
