Our dynamic growth and ambitious targets in relation to quality, innovation and reliability have created a need for the above-mentioned role.ResponsibilitiesClient Tax ReportingAssisting in the production of country specific Client Tax ReportsProcessing error logs and maintaining acquisition data for accurate tax reportsProviding 1st level support for inquiries from client advisersContinuously monitoring changes in domestic and international tax regulations, assessing their impact on existing tax rules sets and implement necessary adjustments to ensure accurate tax treatmentContributing to tax-related projects by designing efficient solutions, delivering business requirements and supporting the implementation of new or enhanced processesTax Reclaim ServicePreparing and transmitting data files to the outsourcing providerMonitoring of tax reclaim requests with the outsourcing providerEnsuring the reimbursement chain to the clientsProviding 1st level support for inquiries from Client AdvisersDriving continuous improvement and development of the entire tax reclaim process to ensure efficiency and high qualityRegulatory Tax ReportingManaging U.S. Qualified Intermediary (QI), FATCA, and CRS reporting, including timely and accurate submission of all regulatory reports to the related Federal Tax AdministrationsPerforming reconciliation and testing of tax data to ensure completeness and compliance with international and Swiss regulatory standardsReviewing and maintaining rule sets for regulatory tax reportings, ensuring alignment with evolving legislation and internal policiesImplementing regulatory changes in processes and systems, collaborating with IT and compliance teams for technical integrationActing as a key contact for internal stakeholders regarding QI, FATCA and CRSMaintaining and regularly updating withholding tax rates for Swiss and Foreign clients in accordance with applicable Double Tax Treaties (DTT)Reconciling, preparing and submitting Swiss stamp tax (Form 9) and supplementary withholding tax (Form 182) to the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (ESTV) on a quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirementsExperience, Skills and Competencies RequiredDegree in Law or Economics or equivalent qualificationAt least 3 years working experience in tax-related areas and good understanding of tax reporting and operational tax processesAnalytical and problem-solving skills with high-quality standards and attention to detailStrong communication skills and willingness to provide excellent serviceProactive work style with a strong customer focusFluent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken)Good MS-Word and MS-Excel knowledge (Pivot tables, Vlookup functions etc)Application Avaloq know-how is an advantageBenefitsRothschild & Co is committed to safeguarding and enhancing the health and wellbeing of all its employees.
