The Fondation de Nant organises all public psychiatric care in the eastern Vaud region. It fulfils a public health mission at the request of the State of Vaud. Its care services are open to all, children, adolescents, adults and elderly people living in the districts of Aigle, Lavaux-Oron and Riviera-Pays-d’Enhaut. They are provided by Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Educators and other mental health professionals. The Fondation de Nant is a member of the Federation of Vaud Hospitals (FHV), the umbrella organisation of recognised regional Vaud hospitals of public interest. It is also part of the Haut-Léman Health Network which brings together health partners from the Riviera and Pays-d’Enhaut with those from the Vaud and Valais Chablais. Attached to psychoanalysis through its history, the Fondation de Nant currently identifies with its contemporary developments. The resulting clinical vision is reflected through its practices, training and openness to other approaches.

Social Worker 50-60% Fixed-Term Contract

THE MISSION

In this Social Worker position, you will work within the adult psychiatry and psychotherapy service. Your mission will be to work in an interdisciplinary team and intervene with patients presenting social issues related to the therapeutic project.

WE OFFER

The Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPA) is one of the three services of the Fondation de Nant, mandated by the State to organise and provide psychiatric care in the eastern Vaud region. The main objectives of the clinical activities of this service are access to care, entry into care, integrated psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment of mental disorders as well as the psychosocial rehabilitation of the patient, with an overall aim of recovery. Social workers work within interdisciplinary teams, provide their expertise on social issues and support the patient, with a view to autonomy and self-determination, in connection with the therapeutic project.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A person with a qualification as a social worker (or equivalent title), with good knowledge of social insurance. Ideally, the candidate should have professional experience, know the Vaud social-health network and be sensitive to psychiatric issues. Finally, we are looking for a person who is autonomous and motivated by the institution’s mission, who enjoys working in an interdisciplinary team.
