We are looking for one of our clients, a medical-social establishment based in the Canton of Geneva, an Occupational Therapist (m/f). Your missions: Help residents with their ability to act due to aging, illness, accident, or developmental disorders. Maintain the autonomy of residents in daily, social, and leisure activities. Assess the needs of the resident and their surroundings as well as their level of independence for daily activities (mobility, dressing, hygiene, etc.). List the available resources (third parties to perform certain tasks, etc.). Establish an assessment of functional capacities (execution of a gesture, precision, speed, muscle strength, etc.) as well as activities. Analyze the environment and architectural aspects (access to premises, work plan, furniture, etc.). Set objectives and treatment methods adapted to residents. Propose and guide various daily activities (dressing, mobility, cleaning, cooking, reading, games, pottery, weaving, etc.). Imagine exercise programs and supervise residents in tasks, create or adapt (orthoses or technical aids) and familiarize residents with these means. Help residents prevent their difficulties as an occupational therapist in an EMS, as part of an interdisciplinary support team, participates in the overall care of residents. To succeed fully in this position, you stand out with the following qualities and skills: Bachelor of Science HES-SO in occupational therapy or an equivalent title, teaching abilities, capacity to analyze and solve manual tasks, good listening skills and understanding of others, interest in social work, understanding towards the elderly.
