Mechanic, Specialist in MaintenanceHYDRO SA is an important service provider, particularly involved in the maintenance of energy generation facilities. We unite all the necessary competencies under one roof, from operation to maintenance of a facility park with more than 40 hydropower plants. Their installed capacity corresponds to approximately 22% of the hydropower capacity available in Switzerland (25% including the jointly generated power operated by us accounts for about 16% of the electricity). Our service spectrum is directed towards electricity companies, public institutions, transport companies, and industry. We mainly operate in Switzerland, but occasionally also conduct assignments abroad.Mechanic, Specialist in MaintenanceWorkplace: Mission:For several hydropower plants, you will independently carry out maintenance work on mechanical installations as a specialist.Tasks:- Performing maintenance and ongoing upkeep work on several hydropower plants.- Contributing to the maintenance and renewal of machines and mechanical systems.- Dismantling and assembling hydroelectric groups for annual maintenance or for machine renewals, especially on the mechanical part, but also the electrical component.- Ensuring on-call service.Your competencies:- EFZ as a polymechanic, mechanic, locksmith, or equivalent training.- Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial machinery (experience in hydropower is advantageous).- Experience in certification for unalloyed and stainless steels would be a plus.- Sense of responsibility.- Willingness to work in a team and mobility.- Ability to handle fluctuations in workload.We are one of the leading companies in our field and offer you excellent employment conditions, training opportunities, and a motivating environment.
