Why not come join us?The Computer Science and Systems Engineering degree program and the Institute of Systems Engineering are seeking a:Technical Specialist in IT and Systems (100%)Position description- Management of the data centre and computing infrastructure supporting teaching and research activities- Development, deployment and management of software solutions related to data centres, computing and storage (on-premises and cloud)- Participation in teaching activities (teaching assistance, support, projects)- Supervision of apprentices and interns- Development and maintenance of software and infrastructure related to the degree program- Collaboration with users to identify technical requirements in hardware and software- User support for IT and network infrastructure- Responsibility for IT securitySelection criteria- Degree in Computer Science (Bachelor's, Master's, Professional Bachelor), or equivalent- Proven professional experience as a system administrator for server infrastructures or computing centres (e.g., Slurm, Ansible, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Proxmox)- Experience in deploying distributed and virtualised system architectures- Experience in network management and technologies is an asset- Proven experience in systems programming (bash, system-level); additional experience is a plus (HPC, software development, front-end/back-end, CI/CD, etc.)- Interest in teaching and supervising; relevant experience is an asset- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, autonomy, respectful and supportive attitude- Proficiency in French; good spoken and written EnglishEmployment rate: 100%Place of work: SionStarting date: As soon as possibleFor further information, please contact the Institute of Systems Engineering or the Computer Science and Systems Engineering degree program.Please submit your complete application documents (CV, cover letter, diplomas and work certificates) by 21 May by clicking on the Apply button.
