Chief of the Extracurricular Reception SectorThe city of Fribourg is announcing a position for Chief of the Extracurricular Reception Sector at 80% (M/F) at the Department of Childhood, Schools, and Social Cohesion.The Extracurricular Reception Sector (AES) is tasked with enabling families in the City of Fribourg to reconcile family life and professional life through a quality extracurricular reception service. It employs 120 staff spread across six extracurricular reception facilities and in one unit. In a complex context, the development and pedagogical quality, as well as the efficient management of resources, are now at the heart of the evolution of the sector’s missions.Responsibilities:- Ensure coherent management of extracurricular reception in accordance with the policies of the City of Fribourg.- Lead the AES sector while ensuring the management and development of extracurricular reception and guaranteeing its missions.- Advise and support the management in the field of childhood reception.- Propose necessary developments while anticipating changes and needs in the field.- Develop and monitor the sector budget, including pricing policy.- Ensure the quality and compliance with legal standards and quality of services with beneficiaries (families), partners, and the network.- Collaborate with other sectors and services of the City of Fribourg.Your Profile:- HES or university degree in social sciences, social work, pedagogy, or a related specialized field, psychology, or complementary studies in personnel management and/or project management.- Experience in team management in a similar field.- Prior experience in the field of extrafamilial reception, with an in-depth knowledge of the needs of children and families, as well as associated social constraints.- High sense of responsibility, customer-oriented thinking and action.- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and to understand the issues for all stakeholders.- Excellent proficiency in French or German and excellent knowledge of the other language.Start date: June 1st or to be agreed upon.Sensitive to sustainable development, the City of Fribourg requests that applications be submitted via the recruitment website () until February 4th.
