With nearly and the Department of and a medical hub focused on the elderly, it is composed of 6 services spread across 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour, and Joli-Mont. It handles acute cases, particularly through the emergency services of the Trois-Chêne hospital, specific age-related issues, and its medical care manages acute situations, notably through the intermediate care in the Hôpital des Trois-Chênes, acute care units focused on musculoskeletal, cardiological, neurological, and oncological syndromes, as well as long-stay units. It also includes a community care service, a liaison unit, and the Center for care. As the Head or Chef of the care department, you ensure the smooth running and activity of the department. Serving as a true link between the head of care and various services within the department, other departments, and management of the institution, you support the head of care in the daily and human management of their activity while overseeing the teams. You manage priorities and provide rapid and effective solutions to ensure continuity of activities. In a continuous improvement approach, you identify, analyze and propose actions aimed at optimizing internal processes and enhancing overall efficiency. You also play a role in linking and facilitating clear communication of decisions and priorities. You assist the head of care in their functions by taking care of administrative aspects, allowing them to focus on crucial issues. A trusted partner, you manage sensitive and confidential files with loyalty and discretion. You anticipate needs, identify and report critical issues or opportunities requiring their attention. You also ensure the management of the calendar, meetings, and appointments based on their importance. Finally, you collect, sort, analyze, and synthesize the necessary information for decision-making, relying on a thorough understanding of the files. You organize and prepare meetings, including setting agendas, sending out notices, and writing minutes. You guarantee quality, reliability, and timeliness of processes. As part of your functions, you may be required to travel regularly to various department sites. You lead, animate, and supervise a team composed of several members spread across various locations. You organize and coordinate the activities of the team to ensure continuity and quality of service across all sites. You ensure the maintenance and development of professional skills, encouraging skill enhancement among team members. You are responsible for recruiting staff, as well as their training and daily supervision. Lastly, you ensure smooth communication and the effective operation of a network. You hold at least a vocational certificate as a commercial employee, completed by a higher qualification such as a federal diploma in management assistance or related fields (CAS or equivalent title). You possess very good knowledge of tools (ECDL advanced level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and standard web requirements) as well as the software used at HUG (DPA, DPI, OPALE, GRECO, Winscribe). You have a successful experience of 5 years or more in a similar position within the medical or healthcare field. You are recognized for your sense of rigorous management and a keen sense of priorities. In your previous roles, you have handled complex files and are capable of managing multiple activities simultaneously. You can unite, supervise, and support teams, fostering an environment of trust and adapting your approach to different stakeholders. Your listening skills, and your ability to manage varied situations with professionalism, contribute actively to collective performance and continuous improvement. You have a sense of confidentiality. You have excellent command of French with a high level of writing skills. You have expertise in office and management tools. Lastly, your language skills in English and/or German are an additional asset.
