Head of Quality Control / Deputy Qualified Person (QP)Quality Control (GMP), Laboratory Management, Deputy Qualified Person (Deputy QP)For an established, research-oriented pharmaceutical company, we are looking for an experienced professional to lead the Quality Control department. The company develops and produces biotechnologically derived medicinal products and combines scientific research with a long-term entrepreneurial approach. Interdisciplinary teams, production, and quality management work closely together. In this key position, you will assume professional and personnel responsibility for Quality Control and simultaneously act as the deputy to the Qualified Person (Deputy QP).Your TasksYou will lead the Quality Control department at the site and ensure that all analytical activities are carried out in compliance with GMP. In close cooperation with QA, production, and development, you will contribute to ensuring product quality as well as the further development of analytical methods and laboratory processes.Key Focus Areas- Professional and personnel leadership of the Quality Control department as well as further development of the laboratory- Responsibility for analytical methods, release analysis, stability programs, and environmental monitoring- Ensuring GMP-compliant laboratory processes as well as handling deviations, OOS/OOT, and CAPA- Function as deputy to the Qualified Person (Deputy QP) and participation in inspections and auditsYour ProfileYou hold a degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or life sciences and bring several years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control in a GMP environment. Experience with analytical methods (e.g., chromatographic procedures) as well as knowledge in method development and validation are required.
