Based in Morges, the financial team comprises nearly forty experienced specialists, working daily to ensure the rigor, reliability, and financial stability of all group activities. As part of its development, our client has entrusted us with the recruitment of a Head of the Accounting Department – Hospital Environment. In this key management role, you will take responsibility for overseeing accounting and managing a team of about ten professionals. As a true structuring manager, you will provide a clear framework, organize priorities, and support an experienced team in its development. At the intersection of financial challenges, you will ensure the reliability of accounts and actively contribute to projects related to development. You will operate in an environment where team stability is essential, and your ability to understand existing structures while improving them will be crucial.Main Responsibilities:- Lead and unite the accounting and collections teams, ensuring efficient resource management and a high level of service quality.- Ensure the reliability of general accounting, receivable, and collection processes, as well as their compliance with regulatory requirements specific to the hospital and parapublic sectors.- Take responsibility for periodic and annual closings according to Swiss GAAP RPC standards, including account reviews, with a focus on supervision, oversight, and process management.- Oversee the production of key financial reports, including consolidated accounts and cantonal reporting.- Structure and secure the management of financial flows, cash flow, and medical fees.- Strengthen the internal X system and prepare for internal and external audits.- Manage the process of monitoring investments and processes related to medical fees.- Lead projects aimed at optimizing and modernizing accounting and reporting processes in close collaboration with other departments of the institution while actively participating in cross-departmental projects and continuously improving financial operations.Profile:You hold a Federal Certificate of Specialist in Accounting or an equivalent qualification and possess solid expertise in financial accounting. Your confirmed experience in a similar role has allowed you to develop a global vision of accounting and financial challenges, as well as credibility with experienced teams. You master cash flow management and the issues related to cash management in dynamic environments. Team management is an integral part of your background. You have previously led established teams and know how to balance demand and support change effectively. A good understanding of the hospital environment or, more broadly, the health sector is an advantage, both for grasping regulatory specifics and facilitating collaboration with teams. Calm and composed, you know how to make decisions, take action when necessary, and provide a reassuring framework. You favor a structured and realistic approach, oriented towards solutions and teamwork; your autonomy and sense of initiative allow you to function effectively in an evolving environment.
