We are recognized as a trusted partner of the Group's brands for dial production and to complement our staff, we are looking for a Head of Galvanoplasty.Job DescriptionAs part of your role, you will be responsible for:Team Management:- Ensure effective communication of relevant information, both to management and to the teams.- Organize and plan work while motivating the teams to achieve set objectives, animate and support the development and versatility of the staff.- Create a positive and stimulating work environment while proactively managing any potential conflicts.- Supervise and train personnel on best practices to ensure quality work and techniques.- Actively participate in recruitment as well as onboarding new employees in collaboration with the Human Resources department.- Conduct annual reviews and support staff in their professional development.Management of Facilities and Maintenance:- Oversee galvanoplasty, anodizing, and PVD operations, ensuring proper procedure execution.- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and facilities to guarantee their proper functioning.- Regularly monitor production equipment and galvanoplasty baths to ensure compliance with standards.- Verify the quality of the coatings obtained (thickness, adhesion, visual appearance) to ensure compliance with quality requirements.Quality Management:- Ensure strict adherence to processes and quality standards.- Analyze rejections and reworks, identifying potential causes.- Propose and implement corrective actions to improve processes and supervise self-checks within teams.Profile:- A diploma in metallurgy or a specialized field with experience as a galvanoplasty manager or technician in surface treatment.- Mastery of galvanoplasty processes and surface treatments.- Ability to read and interpret technical plans.- Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations related to products.- Required competencies include team management, attention to detail, particularly for quality control.- A team player with management ease and proactive mindset.- A rigorous individual with strong spoken and written communication skills: French.Location:La Chaux-de-FondsContact Person:Sandrine Hirt jid09f98f5aen jit0207aen jpiy26aen
