The Vivalys School is a private kindergarten and primary school. It offers a traditional education for students from 1P HarmoS to 7P HarmoS, focusing particularly on sports, languages, and extracurricular activities to provide meaning to the curriculum. At the age of 3, children can join one of our three Small Sections and thrive in a stimulating environment. In light of the current holder's retirement at the end of the school year, we are looking for a:Pedagogical Manager (M/F) 100%Your missionAs the Pedagogical Manager, you are responsible for ensuring a high level of quality in the educational follow-up and development of the institution. You play a central role in managing the teaching teams and implementing the programs.Main responsibilitiesManagement and pedagogical supervision- Supervise, guide, and lead the pedagogical team (permanent and non-permanent teachers, supervisors, interns).- Recruit teachers in collaboration with the management.- Support and develop the potential of the teachers.- Ensure compliance with the pedagogical and institutional framework.- Organize teacher replacements in case of absence and support the educational vision of the institution.Learning Development- Ensure the quality of teaching of the fundamentals (reading, writing, counting, thinking) and other subjects.- Establish and validate the teaching schedules in collaboration with the school, families, and management.- Ensure communication with parents in support of teachers.- Validate report cards (4 per year).- Organize and facilitate pedagogical days.- Organize and participate in management meetings to maintain the link between management and the pedagogical team.- Organize and lead regular meetings with the institution’s body.- Organize and supervise school events (Christmas party, promotions, etc.).- Ensure the visibility of the institution, welcoming families and conducting visits.- Participate in management meetings.Required conditions- Being a French speaker.- Proficiency in English.- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree and/or a recognized equivalent qualification.- Possess complete pedagogical training recognized by the Swiss Conference of Directors of Cantonal Public Instruction (CDIP) or approved by the relevant department, or otherwise have professional experience deemed equivalent or have a C permit.Desired profile- Excellent knowledge of programs and pedagogical objectives.- Confirmed experience in teaching and/or pedagogical management.- Management and leadership skills.- Excellent listening skills and decision-making ability.We offer- A responsible position within a stimulating working environment and the possibility of actively contributing to the pedagogical development of the institution.Start date: To be agreed upon (the school year starts in September).
