The Early Childhood Service (SDPE) implements the City of Geneva's early childhood policy by managing municipal childcare facilities and supporting those it subsidizes. As part of the opening of the new early childhood care facility Guy-Olivier Segond at the start of the school year, the SDPE is looking for early childhood professionals. Your mission and responsibilities:- Organize the reception and support of children (0 to 4 years old) while ensuring quality and compliance with existing regulations.- Contribute to and ensure the implementation of the educational project of the care facility and institution.- Develop and implement actions related to the educational project.- Accompany and supervise the activities of trainees, learners, assistants, and aids.- Create a group dynamic conducive to the awakening, development, and well-being of children (0 to 4 years old).- Ensure communication and transmission of information to families.- Collaborate and participate in meetings and exchanges with representatives of the profile.Profile:- Hold a diploma from the Geneva or Lausanne Higher School of Education (ESEDE), or a diploma recognized by the SEFRI.- Demonstrate enthusiasm, openness, and kindness.- Show great listening skills, good stress management, and ease in communication.- Have at least 2 years of successful experience with young children.Conditions and application procedure:Application deadline: Start date: Function classification: Class I of the salary scale.The application file must contain the following elements:- Cover letter or, if not available, completed job application form (to be downloaded from our website).- Copies of diplomas and work certificates.- Recent passport-sized photograph.Following the City of Geneva's guidelines, the recruitment process is decentralized.
