The Early Childhood Service (SDPE) is responsible for implementing the City of Geneva's early childhood policy by managing municipal childcare facilities and supporting the structures that serve them. To complement its teams, the SDPE is looking for:- For the Monique Bauer-Lagier early childhood care facility (Geneva) a childhood educator at 60%- For the Eglantyne Jebb early childhood care facility (Geneva) a childhood educator at 70%- For the Marie Goegg-Pouchoulin early childhood care facility (Geneva) a childhood educator at a percentage to be determined.Your mission and responsibilities:In the context of maternity leave replacement (with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent contract afterwards within other municipal early childhood services):- Organize the reception and support of children while ensuring quality service in accordance with regulations.- Contribute to and ensure the implementation of the educational project of the care facility and institution.- Develop and implement actions related to the educational project.- Accompany and supervise the activity of interns, learners, social education assistants, and aides.- Create a group dynamic conducive to awakening, development, and support for children.- Ensure communication and relay information to families.- Collaborate in team efforts and participate in meetings and exchanges with representatives.Profile:- Hold a recognized diploma in early childhood education (ESEDE) or an equivalent title (recognition by SEFRI).- Demonstrate spirit, enthusiasm, openness, and kindness.- Show great listening skills, good stress management, and ease in interactions.In line with its gender equality policy, the City of Geneva wishes to promote diversity in all its services.
