For our "Motion, Power & Sensing" division site based in Fribourg, we are currently looking for a
Import/Export Specialist
The Position
As an Import/Export Specialist, you will handle international and domestic shipments to support on-time customer deliveries, optimise transport costs and contribute to the company’s SQDIP operational objectives. Your main responsibilities include:
- Processing delivery notes and invoicing for international and domestic shipments
- Organising transport according to internal instructions, customer requirements and applicable Incoterms
- Creating AWB shipping documents and issuing preferential and non-preferential certificates of origin
- Preparing ATA carnets
- Processing invoices related to the activity
- Managing and tracking supplier returns
- Contributing to updating export procedures and participating in continuous improvement projects related to the activity
Your Profile
- Commercial employee CFC or equivalent training
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within an international environment
- Knowledge of customs procedures, export regulations and customs code allocation
- Very good knowledge of Incoterms applicable to road and air transport
- Import knowledge is an advantage
- Knowledge of SAP, MS Office and ideally GTS
- Good communication skills and team spirit
- Flexibility and organisation, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Rigour, proactivity and perseverance
- Autonomy and customer orientation
- Fluent French with good knowledge of English
