Infrastructure & Security Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
On behalf of our client based in Geneva, we are looking for an Infrastructure & Security Systems Engineer (m/f/d) responsible for managing security remediation actions and rationalising an on-premises infrastructure in a demanding banking environment.
Your mission
- Manage and coordinate security remediation requests on the on-premises infrastructure, notably VMware, servers and associated technical components.
- Conduct technical impact analyses prior to implementing changes related to security requirements.
- Identify obsolete or non-compliant components, monitor them and define appropriate remediation plans.
- Structure the work into work packages, ensure operational follow-up and coordinate the relevant technical teams.
- Support the rationalisation of the infrastructure as part of the information system transformation and the gradual reduction of the on-premises footprint.
Your profile
- Proven experience in systems engineering on complex on-premises environments with demonstrated expertise in Windows, Linux, virtualisation and infrastructure environments.
- Very good knowledge of VMware ESXi and vSphere; experience with Nutanix is an advantage.
- Good understanding of infrastructure security issues, particularly in vulnerability management, hardening, compliance and remediation.
- Ability to conduct technical impact analyses and work on heterogeneous, complex or legacy environments.
- Excellent coordination, organisation and communication skills to interact effectively with multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Structured, pragmatic and problem-solving oriented approach in a context of transformation and high demands.
