Description
On behalf of our client active in the field of rail transport and logistics, we are looking for several industrial painters based in Villeneuve (VD). These positions, at the heart of a rail industrial environment, are aimed at professionals with vocational training and proven experience in industrial painting on metal structures. You will mainly work on components and equipment related to the rail sector, strictly adhering to internal procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements. You will work in coordination with other maintenance and production specialists to ensure reliable and punctual deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Perform meticulous sanding of surfaces before paint application, following prescribed methods to ensure good adhesion and a uniform finish.
- Ensure complete and rigorous paint preparation, responsible for proper paint preparation, controlling mixtures, viscosity, and resting times according to received technical instructions.
- Apply industrial paint according to internal procedures, ensuring the quality of paint gloss and compliance with required layer thicknesses.
- Visually and dimensionally inspect painted parts, identify any defects, and carry out necessary touch-ups in accordance with defined quality criteria.
- Maintain equipment, paint booths, and sanding tools, applying safety and cleanliness rules to ensure a stable and compliant working environment.
Profile
- Completed basic vocational training in a technical or manual trade.
- Mandatory training in industrial painting with recent practice in a similar environment.
- Conscientious, organised person attentive to technical and visual details.
- Rigorous approach to workplace safety and handling of products.
- Availability to work in Villeneuve (VD) in the transport and logistics sector.
