The position is attached to the Real Estate Directorate (DI), whose mission is to define a strategy for the real estate portfolio, to develop coherence in the monitoring of major projects according to the 2022-2040 hospital master plan, in close partnership with the main State services linked to the Department of Territory, the Department of Infrastructure, and the Department of Health, to optimise the monitoring of surfaces and future planning, while ensuring the smooth running of services. More than 230 professionals carry out their duties daily with constant demands for excellence, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.
The Infrastructure Operational Continuity Service (SCOI) is a service provider whose main mission is, through the presence on each site of employees from various trades, to ensure the maintenance of the hospital estate composed of medical and logistical equipment, buildings, and their installations.
Your scope of activities includes three hospital sites as well as several consultation centres scattered throughout the city of Geneva.
You independently carry out all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as well as installation work requested by your hierarchy.
You ensure the monitoring and supervision of construction sites and works, ensuring compliance with deadlines, standards, and current directives.
You regularly report on your interventions to your hierarchy and report any malfunctions, damage, or technical anomalies observed.
You ensure the updating of technical documentation as well as the maintenance and cleaning of tools, premises, and equipment provided to you.
As needed, you also supervise maintenance work and repairs related to your sector. As a point of contact, you coordinate, control, and accompany external companies commissioned.
You participate in stock management and the preparation of material requests.
Curious and motivated by the evolution of techniques and technologies in your field, you also enjoy sharing your expertise and collaborating with your colleagues.
Aware of environmental issues and energy savings, you integrate these concerns into all your activities.
You work regular hours and participate, according to a planned rota, in the on-call service for your sector. In case of emergency, you are also willing to intervene outside usual hours, including at night, weekends, and public holidays.
Qualifications
You hold an ES technician diploma in the relevant field or an equivalent qualification, complemented by at least 5 years of professional experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC installations.
You possess solid knowledge of various couplings and hydraulic circuits as well as in the field of regulation.
You master Johnson Controls and Sauter Building Control regulation and supervision systems (user level).
You have very good knowledge of industrial thermal installations, notably in superheated water and steam, and are aware of the risks related to their operation.
You hold the ASIT boiler operator certificate or are willing to undertake this training to obtain certification within two years.
General knowledge of building trades (carpentry, locksmithing, etc.) is an asset to ensure technical on-call services autonomously.
You live less than 35 minutes from your workplace and necessarily hold a category B driving licence.
An electrical connection authorisation (NIBT) allowing intervention on equipment with electrical connection would be an advantage.
You are proficient with common office tools, notably Microsoft Office, as well as the use of CMMS software.
With an excellent sense of service, you enjoy teamwork and demonstrate openness to change, allowing you to integrate quickly and evolve comfortably in your professional environment.
You have perfect command of French, both spoken and written, and express yourself clearly and concisely.
If necessary, you may be required to intervene on all HUG sites to carry out specific missions.
Thanks to your calm, discreet, and composed personality, you easily establish a relationship of trust with your interlocutors. You demonstrate a strong spirit of collaboration and are sensitive to the constraints of the hospital environment as well as the presence of patients.
