The positions are attached to the Department of Clinical Neurosciences. This department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological and otorhinolaryngological pathologies. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to rehabilitation sectors (neurorehabilitation).
The department's objective is to guide patients towards regaining their autonomy through education, support and outpatient follow-up. It ensures the operation of patients as well as their support, to promote early return home. In the same spirit, outpatient care is also prioritised and surgical activity optimised, to facilitate access to care within a reasonable timeframe.
Functionally, you will collaborate with physiotherapy teams from various departments present at Beau-Séjour.
As part of your role, you will ensure the supervision of the Beau-Séjour pool and its users, who daily welcome patients undergoing rehabilitation. You will ensure compliance with hygiene, safety rules and internal regulations and actively participate in accident prevention. You will intervene in case of incident or accident in accordance with current procedures, particularly in rescue, first aid, cardiac massage and use of the automated external defibrillator.
You will welcome, inform and supervise users, adopt appropriate behaviour towards a clientele with varied profiles and be able to defuse delicate or conflictual situations. You communicate with kindness by establishing a climate of trust.
You will ensure the proper functioning of the facilities, control and technical intervention according to defined protocols, check equipment, maintain order and cleanliness of premises (cleaning of changing rooms and other areas). You report any anomalies and ensure the transmission of necessary information to the hierarchy.
The position requires rigour, a strong sense of responsibility, good physical condition and the ability to manage emergency situations.
Qualifications
You hold at least the Plus Pool certificate and a valid BLS AED (Swiss Rescue Society or equivalent) which you commit to renewing every two years, as well as additional training in aquatic activities.
Professional experience in a bath attendant or equivalent role is an asset.
Fluency in French, both spoken and written, is required, as well as basic computer skills (Excel, Word and Outlook).
