In the context of a succession process of significant importance, the Frutiger Group is looking for an entrepreneurial personality with strong leadership skills to hold the position of Construction Building & Regional Switzerland Romande (M/F/D). In this key role, you report directly to the CEO, are a member of the General Management, and assume responsibility for the Building sector, which consists of approximately 800 employees. You will drive and develop activities, especially in Switzerland Romande, and in the regions of Thun, Bern, and Basel, while actively contributing to the following main responsibilities: overall responsibility for the Building sector, development of a large team of managers at multiple levels, active market development and sustainable growth of activities in Switzerland Romande, maintenance and development of a strong network of clients, partners, and stakeholders, management of large complex projects (public and private) throughout their lifecycle, propagating innovative construction and energy concepts (BIM), embedding safety, quality, and sustainability requirements into daily operations. Your background includes a degree in civil engineering, architecture or an equivalent field (FH/University), ideally supplemented by training in management (e.g., MBA, Federal diploma). You have at least 10 years of management experience in the construction sector or related industries, with several years at a general management or business management level. You possess deep expertise in building and/or civil engineering, as well as in large-scale projects. You have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, decisive ability, and excellent understanding of markets. You have a well-established professional network within the construction sector in Switzerland Romande. You are a leader committed to responsibility and a demanding corporate culture. You are fluent in French, with good knowledge of German. You are available to travel (1 to 2 days per week to Thun); main workplace: Lausanne.
