Founded in Lausanne, the Asile des aveugles includes the Jules-Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital, a university ophthalmology service, a research center, the Educational Center for Visually Impaired Students (CPHV), social service, and low vision services. The medical-social establishment of 670 mobilizes every day to serve visual health by offering diagnosis, treatment, and support to individuals.
