For one of our clients based in Geneva, we offer a position of Documentary Credits Officer. Full-time position.DOCUMENTARY CREDITS OFFICERMISSION DESCRIPTIONThe Documentary Credits Officer is responsible for the processing and execution of all activities related to documentary credits and associated instruments (import/export documentary credits, incoming and outgoing documentary collections, commercial guarantees, etc.) for a client portfolio. In this capacity, their main responsibilities are:• Ensure accurate, efficient, and timely execution of client and correspondent instructions related to trade finance.• Also handle activities related to non-client transactions if necessary.• Provide technical support to clients, Managers, and internal teams (notably Financial Institutions).• Maintain regular professionalism with clients in conjunction with Relationship Managers (RMs).• Inform Managers of any developments impacting their clients (related to documents).• Ensure compliance with rules, procedures, and standards related to documentary credits.PROFILEBanking background or equivalent (banking vocational diploma, or equivalent).Minimum of 3 years of experience in documentary credits within a bank, ideally specialized in Commodity Trade Finance.Excellent technical mastery of documentary credits (theoretical knowledge and understanding of guidelines and rules related to trade finance).Very good ability to prioritize and work independently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.Rigorous, precise, attention to detail.Comfortable with team tools.Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. jid72a9d67aen jit0414aen jpiy26aen
