The City of Geneva offers an apprentice position for a Certified Federal Professional in Technical Stagecraft. Your mission: During your apprenticeship, you will learn the technical setup for shows, particularly to: - create lighting plans during festivals and various events, - install and manage sound, video, and lighting systems, and carry out sound recordings, - transport, assemble, and disassemble stage décor and equipment (mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, cabling, etc.), - prepare and set up special effects such as pyrotechnics or smoke on stage. You must be 18 years old by the start of the apprenticeship. Skills required: proficiency in volume, a taste for well-done work, a sense of listening, good color perception, and an interest in service. Entry date: school year start on March 31. The application file must contain the following elements: a cover letter, a resume (CV), copies of school report cards from the last three years, copies of diplomas and work experience (if you have already had initial experience). Incomplete applications will not be considered.
