The City of Geneva offers an apprentice position for a Certified Federal Professional in Technical Stagecraft. Your mission: During your apprenticeship, you will learn the technical setup for shows, particularly to: - create lighting plans during festivals and various events, - install and manage sound, video, and lighting systems, and carry out sound recordings, - transport, assemble, and disassemble stage décor and equipment (mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, cabling, etc.), - prepare and set up special effects such as pyrotechnics or smoke on stage. You must be 18 years old by the start of the apprenticeship. Skills required: proficiency in volume, a taste for well-done work, a sense of listening, good color perception, and an interest in service. Entry date: school year start on March 31. The application file must contain the following elements: a cover letter, a resume (CV), copies of school report cards from the last three years, copies of diplomas and work experience (if you have already had initial experience).
