As part of a large digital initiative, a leading Swiss company is strengthening its IT department and creating an internal development service. We are looking for a Head of Development to design, structure, and lead a modern development team, focused on quality, performance, and business impact.Your mission:You will take responsibility for e-Commerce with high stakes, aiming to internalize developments, secure existing assets, and sustainably align IT with business needs.Main responsibilities:- Define and manage the e-Commerce development roadmap in line with the digital strategy.- Build, structure, and manage a multidisciplinary team (frontend, backend, full stack, DevOps, QA).- Ensure the performance, security, availability, and scalability of projects and organize the transfer of skills to internal teams.- Govern developments: needs assessment, KPI tracking, deliverable quality, deadline compliance, and establish a culture focused on quality, testing, and continuous improvement.- Be the key interface between IT and business areas (marketing, sales, logistics, customer service).Desired profile:- University degree in IT or engineering.- Confirmed experience (8 years or more) in software development, with a background in managing high-stakes e-Commerce or transactional projects.- Mastery of frontend, backend, DevOps, and cloud environments (Azure required).- Strong sensitivity to code quality, performance, security, and technical debt management.- Previous experience in a regulated environment (banking, pharmaceutical).- Leadership skills and the ability to unite teams.- Excellent communication with technical interlocutors and business impact.We offer:- A key and visible position at the heart of digital initiatives.- Strong autonomy and real decision-making power.- Opportunities to tackle high business stakes within a modern, stimulating, and dynamic environment.- Conditions: flexible hours, up to 2 days of remote work per week, and quality social benefits.For any additional information, you can contact Sylvain.
