Windows Server Systems Engineer - Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (m/f/d)

For one of our banking clients in Geneva, we are looking for a Windows Server Systems Engineer - Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (m/f/d) responsible for managing the industrialised deployment of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint in an international Windows Server environment.
Your mission
- Analyse the existing Windows Server environment and identify the technical prerequisites for deploying Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Define the deployment strategy based on GPOs, PowerShell scripts, and appropriate automation mechanisms.
- Industrialise the server onboarding process to ensure a reliable, reproducible, and secure deployment.
- Conduct testing, validation, and deployment phases on a fleet of several hundred Windows servers.
- Ensure troubleshooting, resolve technical incidents, and collaborate with international Infrastructure and Security teams.
Your profile
- Proven experience in Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 administration, ideally in a large-scale international environment.
- Excellent command of Active Directory, GPOs, PowerShell, and automation mechanisms related to Microsoft environments.
- Demonstrated experience in deploying and administering Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including server onboarding.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR, hardening best practices, and security requirements specific to Windows servers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to structure a diagnostic approach, and ease in collaborating with Infrastructure and Security teams.
