Title: First Job Fixed-Term Contract - Water and Gas Network FitterWe will achieve this togetherAs an experienced Network Fitter, you will carry out maintenance and work on the drinking water distribution network to ensure the water supply for customers. The activity of the EPG (Drinking Water Gas) unit will also lead you to intervene on the Construction Water and Gas (CEG) unit of the Drinking Water Gas (EPG) activity, which is part of the Thermal, Gas and Water (TGE) Directorate. Its mission is to guarantee the continuity and quality of drinking water distribution, as well as the studies and execution of work on the drinking water and energy network in the service of a sustainable Geneva.Your missions will be as follows:- Carry out extension and renewal work on pipelines according to current standards and in compliance with safety regulations;- Prepare the parts and tools necessary for the execution of construction sites;- Perform repairs during leaks on the network;- Participate in internal exchanges and provide a first level of response to customers and stakeholders on construction sites;- Contribute to the promotion of the brand image.Your personality and your skills- Benefiting from good physical condition, you are able to work outdoors and in a difficult and cramped environment;- Your team spirit is essential for the cohesion and smooth running of the teams;- Knowledge in the field of gas is an asset that will give you versatility;- A driver's license is required;- Start of work to be agreed upon.Your academic background- Holder of a sanitary CFC (Federal Certificate of Proficiency), or a qualification deemed equivalent, you master the general techniques, the material used and the standards in force.The company regularly welcomes young graduates to offer them a first professional experience within the framework of a one-year fixed-term contract.
