Professional Vocational Instructor II, Instructor for inter-company courses and trainingJob DescriptionAs a professional vocational instructor, you are responsible for teaching inter-company courses provided within the framework of the Federal VET Diploma (CFC) for foresters. Please submit your application in a single PDF document (including work certificates, diplomas, cover letter) for document management reasons.Responsibilities- Provide specific inter-company courses within the framework of the initial training of forest agents and landscapers.- Lead training courses for adults, particularly on the use of chainsaws and brushcutters.- Participate in the creation of teaching materials and keep technical knowledge and technological developments in the field up to date.- Replace or reinforce, within the framework of team activities, a team member during standard forestry work. Finishing certain forestry sites is also an integral part of your activities.- Be integrated into all activities related to teaching and forestry management involving forestry work.Requirements- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a forester, Federal Diploma of Foreman with the possibility of following the training while employed.- Pedagogical training with the possibility of following the training while employed.- Professional forestry experience as a forester, foreman, or in a company.- Solid technical knowledge and skills in the fields of silviculture, forestry engineering, forest biodiversity, and light machinery.- Interest and experience in the field of knowledge transfer.- Good oral and written command of the French language.- Sense of responsibility and team spirit.- Driving license B1/E (trailer).- Clean special criminal record extract (will be requested before hiring).WHO ARE WE?Active throughout the cantonal territory, the Directorate General for the Environment (DGE) develops and delivers public policies and services for the Canton of Vaud in the fields of energy, natural resources, prevention and management of pollution, protection of the landscape, and biodiversity, among others.
