Senior VMware VCF Engineer-Contract role-Sweden
RED is currently looking for an experienced Senior VMware VCF Engineer to join a large-scale private cloud environment. The role is highly hands-on and will focus on VMware Cloud Foundation, networking, automation and Kubernetes technologies.
This is a 6 month initial contract with extension possibilities, and 2-3 days onsite presence is required in the Office
Key Responsibilities:

Manage, support and troubleshoot VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
Work extensively with vSphere and NSX across enterprise infrastructure.
Support complex networking environments including VLANs, routing, switching, DNS and IP networking.
Develop and maintain automation workflows using VMware Aria Automation (vRA) and Aria Orchestrator (vRO).
Support Kubernetes/container platforms including VKS / VMware Tanzu.
Perform VMware lifecycle activities including patching, upgrades and advanced troubleshooting.
Support incident, change and operational processes within a large enterprise environment.
Work closely with infrastructure, networking and platform teams to continuously improve the private cloud platform.

Key Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
Strong experience with vSphere and NSX.
Excellent understanding of traditional networking concepts.
Experience with vRA / vRO / VMware Aria Automation.
Hands-on exposure to VKS, Tanzu or Kubernetes platforms.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise VMware environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Swedish citizenship is mandatory.
Ability to start within a short notice period.
