Your impact

As a versatile maintenance employee, you directly contribute to ensuring a functional, safe, and well-maintained working and learning environment.

Your role is central to the daily smooth running of the school: you ensure the maintenance of infrastructure, participate in the continuous improvement of facilities, and support teams during events and specific projects.

We are looking for a committed, proactive, and solution-oriented person with experience in technical maintenance or infrastructure management, ideally in a demanding environment (school, hospitality, multi-site structures, or growing organisation).

Your collaborative approach, autonomy, and willingness to learn will be key assets to grow within a developing establishment.

1. Main responsibilities

  • Technical maintenance of buildings·      
  • Carry out regular inspections of premises, installations, and equipment.·      
  • Ensure preventive maintenance to anticipate malfunctions.·      
  • Perform routine repairs (basic electrical work, simple plumbing, locksmithing, painting, minor works).·      
  • Diagnose technical problems and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Repair or replace equipment, machines, or structural elements when possible.·   
  • Ensure machines and tools are secured and properly stored.

2. Outdoor space maintenance·      

  • Ensure the good condition and aesthetics of grounds and gardens according to the seasons:·      
  • lawn mowing    
  • hedge trimming  
  • weeding     
  • planting
  • leaf collection   
  • snow clearing and salting     
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of outdoor arrangements.  

3. Safety and compliance·      

  • Apply and enforce health and safety rules at work.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the establishment’s safety policy. 
  • Ensure compliance of installations.

4. Support for school activities·      

  • Participate in the logistical preparation of school events (furniture setup, technical equipment, safety).
  • Collaborate with academic and housekeeping teams when events require collective mobilisation.
  • Ensure certain site duties or closures during school holidays, according to schedule.·      
  • Occasionally participate in evening or weekend activities.
