LMAU, an urban planning and architecture agency with projects in French-speaking Switzerland, is looking immediately or by agreement for an urban geographer project manager to strengthen its team.
Urban Geographer Project Manager
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage territorial and urban planning mandates, including municipal zoning plans, neighbourhood development plans, and guiding images in French-speaking Switzerland.
- Write technical reports and their justifications related to planning procedures, such as 47 OAT, explanatory notes, summary reports, etc.
- Maintain relations with clients, cantonal and municipal administrations, as well as various project partners.
- Organise and lead coordination and consultation meetings.
- Manage multidisciplinary consortiums of contractors.
- Participate in the development of activities and acquisition of mandates.
Profile
- University or University of Applied Sciences degree in geography, urban planning, territorial development, or equivalent field.
- Professional experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a similar role, in a private agency, in French-speaking Switzerland.
- Experience in the development and monitoring of territorial planning in French-speaking Switzerland.
- Good knowledge of territorial planning procedures and tools in French-speaking Switzerland.
- Knowledge of the regulatory and institutional context of Valais and Geneva is a significant asset.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary consortiums.
- Excellent writing and synthesis skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, organisational sense, and autonomy.
- Proficiency in GIS tools, Adobe suite, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of CAD software is also an asset (AutoCad, ArchiCad, etc.)
