You will report directly to the Head of role and responsibilities- Assemble, and finalize opto-mechanical instruments and sub-assemblies- Prepare and install cables and connectors; configure electronic equipment- Perform in-house quality control and functionality testing before alignment and shipment- Complete production checklists, test reports and other required production and repair electronic, electrical and mechanical issues, and support on product failures, production and recurring technical problems- Support the development team electronic and mechanical prototypes, and provide feedback from improve manufacturability, reliability and serviceability- Carry out incoming inspection of technical components, perform and pack instruments for shipping- Continuously improve production procedures and profileThe ideal will have a technical apprenticeship or equivalent background in electronics, or a similar technical field, ideally with 2 or more years of relevant experience in equipment assembly, troubleshooting or technical production. You are structured and quality-oriented, equally comfortable with manual work and technical procedures, and you thrive on independence balanced with strong team manual skills and ability to work on mechanical, optical and electronic equipment- Ability to follow technical procedures rigorously- Basic understanding of electronics, wiring, soldering, crimping and functional testing- Hands-on experience with instrument repair and troubleshooting- Basic software, firmware or programming knowledge- French spoken and written- Basic command of English; B2 level is an advantage- Driving license B is heavily recommended- Swiss/EU citizenship or valid working permit for Switzerland- Experience in one or several of the following areas is advantageous- Basic electronic milling machines- Working in production or service environments combining mechanical, optical and electronic systems- Working in small but high-impact we offer- 5 weeks of informal yet professional working environment where open discussion and exchange of ideas among all team actively encouraged- Standing desk- You become a growing company where your contribution makes a difference, is valued, and is part of our to further success- A company with values to uncompromising integrity, trust, respect, and teamworkDoes this look like you?
